hello – are segments available on the NSB Hanjin ships ? if so would either Singapore to Hong Kong ( 6 days ) or Shanghai to Singapore ( 11 days ) be available sometime in the next few months ?
If not I assume I need to pick out some other routes and keep enquiring as to shorter term segments .
thankyou,
Yes, Bill. Fares are usually charged per day on cargo ships so you can book between two ports of your choice. Port charges and deviation insurance are additional to the fare but yes we can quote you on any particular sector.
thankyou for your prompt repy. Is there anything available on either route ( Singapore to Hong Kong is the slight preference ) in either early to mid Sept 2012 or anytime after 8 October ?
Thanks again,
hello – no hurry at all but I look forward to hearing from you as to availability in first half of September or anytime from 8 Oct 2012 for a Hanjin freighter segment , eitherSingapore to Hong Kong ( approx 6 days ) or Shanghai to Singapore ( approx 11 days ) . If available it’s quite likely to be 2 of us – daughter and me.
Thanks again,
Hi Bill, owners are telling us that for a relatively short leg such as this (out of a 91-day round voyage) we need to register you about four weeks prior to departure. I don’t think this will be a problem as there is usually good space available on Far East sailings (as opposed to Australia-Europe, which sells out more than a year in advance).
