Weekly Southampton-Philadelphia Cargo-Passenger Sailings start in July

Weekly sailings between Southampton and Philadelphia (Chester PA)

The container ships Independent Horizon, Independent Primero,  Independent Quest and Independent Vision each carry a few passengers on their Transatlantic voyages from Southampton to Philadelphia. Transit time is 11 days and passenger fares are  €1,508 per person in double occupancy and €1,708 for sole use of a double cabin. If you are not a US or Canadian citizen you will need a full US B1/B2 visa to enter the United States on this service.

Bookings are also possible from Antwerp and Wilmington.  Eastbound, ships leave Chester on Wednesdays and Wilmington on Fridays, arriving at Antwerp on Tuesdays. UK-bound passengers must leave the ship here but but can be back in the UK the same day on a through Eurostar ticket from Antwerp to London St Pancras Station.
